Machine Description
The ASSET AV5 series of volumetric filling machines also offer a simple to operate heavy duty design with a proven history of reliability, ease of use and cleaning. The core difference between the AV3 and AV5 series is that these machines are engineered for strength and robust functionality. Typically, this is required to handle larger fill volumes and industrial grade products such as paints, oils and cleaning products.
Another difference is that this all-pneumatic machine has been fitted with our Spool valve as standard. Spool valves manage thicker liquids with ease up to 95° Celsius.
The AV5-4C machine has quad cylinders for even faster production and comes trolley mounted on an A-frame with screw levelling jacks and lockable castors for connection to a continuously running conveyor. This comes complete with a “no bottle no fill” safety device and container gating.
As per ASSET’s other machines, the AV5 series are self-priming from various product supply methods e.g. close coupled hopper, suction hose inlet assembly, elevated or floor level product tank, or low-pressure pump feed.
The cylinder design enables quicker dismantling without tools, and easy, thorough cleaning of wet parts.
Although designed primarily for bench or trolley mounted semi-automatic operation the, AV5 series design can be incorporated into an automatic conveyor line or specialised filling application.
For safety, the stroke adjustor, air cylinder and product cylinder drive assembly are enclosed by an interlocked polycarbonate cover.
